The Omega Constellation 41mm 131.33.41.21.06.001 is the silk-embossed silver dial variant with the black ceramic bezel. Most Constellations use sunburst dials. This one has a crosshatch linen texture that catches light without the metallic sheen of a sunburst finish. The blackened hands and indices against the silver dial create reverse contrast. The black ceramic bezel with the silver-filled Roman numerals and the black leather strap keep the monochrome palette. VSF Watch got the dial texture and the ceramic bezel right.

The dial. Silver with a silk-embossed crosshatch texture instead of a sunburst finish. The linen-like pattern breaks light into small intersecting lines rather than a radial sweep. It reads as a fabric texture at close range. The faceted hands and wedge indices are blackened, which is unusual for a Constellation. Most use rhodium or gold plating. The black against the silver creates the highest contrast on any Constellation dial with no color involved. The Constellation star at 6 is blackened to match. The date at 6 keeps the symmetry. VSF matched the texture pattern and the black treatment on the hands and indices is clean.

The bezel. Polished black ceramic with silver-filled Roman numerals. The numerals are flush with the ceramic surface. No raised texture. The polished steel claws grip the bezel at 3 and 9. The contrast between the glossy black ceramic and the polished steel claws is the most modern bezel treatment in the Constellation range.

The case. 41mm in 316L steel. Brushed surfaces with polished bevels. The crown is fluted steel. At 41mm and roughly 13.5mm thick, the watch has more wrist presence than the 38mm models but still fits under a dress cuff. VSF's case proportions are correct.

The movement. Dandong 8900 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks for time zone changes without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. Exhibition caseback with decorated movement. Winding is smooth.

The strap. Black alligator-pattern leather with a rubber lining and a steel deployant clasp. The rubber lining protects the leather from sweat. The black strap and black ceramic bezel frame the textured silver dial. The monochrome palette keeps the focus on the dial texture.
