The dial. Mint green sunburst. Lighter and pastel compared to the ombré gradient green. The mint shifts from a soft silvery green in direct light to a more saturated cool green at an angle. It is the most hype Datejust dial color and it spends more time sold out than available at ADs. The applied baton indices are white gold finished. The hands are the standard Datejust baton shape with Chromalight fill that glows blue in the dark. The date at 3 sits under the cyclops lens. VSF matched the mint green correctly and the sunburst grain is even.
The bezel. Fluted, finished to mimic white gold. The angled facets catch light and produce a ring of reflections around the dial. On the 41mm case the larger bezel surface amplifies the effect. VSF's fluted bezel has the correct facet count and the finish tone is cooler and brighter than the steel case.
The case. 41mm in 904L steel. The larger Datejust platform with slimmer lugs than the previous generation. It wears more contemporary than the 36mm and has more wrist presence. The polished lugs and the fluted bezel frame the mint green dial. VSF's case geometry and finishing are correct.
The movement. Dandong 3235 automatic with a 72-hour power reserve. The date flips instantaneously at midnight. Independent jumping hour hand for time zone adjustment without stopping the running seconds. Winding is smooth and the movement is consistent across VSF's Datejust and Submariner range.
The bracelet. Jubilee with polished center links and brushed outer links. The five-piece link construction is more flexible and comfortable than the Oyster. The Oysterclasp has an Easylink extension. The polished center links pick up surface marks with daily wear, which is standard for the Jubilee. The mint green dial with the fluted bezel and the Jubilee is the spec that gets the most attention in the current Datejust lineup.
