The Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN is the current-generation black Submariner. 41mm instead of the old 40mm. Slimmer lugs than the maxi case generation. The movement is the Dandong 3235 with a 72-hour power reserve. VSF's version is the reference point for Submariner reps and the build quality across the case, bezel, crystal, and bracelet is the best available. VSF Watch Factory got the case proportions and the movement right.

The movement. The Dandong 3235 is the main reason to buy the VSF Submariner instead of another factory's version. It is built from the ground up as a 3235 clone rather than a modified 3135 or an off-the-shelf movement with a decorated plate. It has a genuine 72-hour power reserve. Three full days off the wrist without stopping. The date flips instantaneously at midnight. The winding feel is smooth and the crown positions engage correctly. VSF's 3235 is also used in their Yacht-Master and Datejust models. It is the most reliable clone movement in the Rolex rep space.
The case. 41mm in 904L steel. This generation slimmed the lugs down from the maxi case era. The lugs are narrower and the bracelet is wider at 21mm where it meets the case. The watch wears less blocky than the 40mm 116610 and the proportions read closer to the five-digit Submariners without losing the ceramic bezel and the modern build. The case finishing mixes brushed surfaces on the lugs and bracelet with polished bevels. The crown is a Triplock screw-down with crown guards. VSF's case dimensions and lug profile match gen.
The bezel. Black Cerachrom ceramic with platinum PVD-filled numerals. The platinum fill is bright silver and will not darken or fade with wear, which is the problem on cheaper inserts that use paint instead of PVD. The bezel action is firm with clear, precise clicks. No play. The luminous pip at 12 is correctly centered and the platinum fill on the numerals is even.
The crystal. Sapphire with an AR coating under the cyclops lens. VSF's crystal is one of the things they are known for. The cyclops has the black hole effect. The date window appears deep black with the numeral floating on top under most lighting. The edge of the crystal is beveled correctly and the height above the bezel matches gen.
The bracelet. 904L steel Oyster with a brushed finish and polished edges on the links. The Glidelock clasp lets you adjust the bracelet in small increments up to 20mm without tools. The clasp has a safety catch and the Glidelock mechanism slides smoothly. The bracelet is comfortable and the articulation is fluid. The brushed links hide daily wear better than polished center links.
