The Omega De Ville Hour Vision 431.33.41.21.03.001 is the blue dial dress watch with the sapphire side windows. The Hour Vision case has sapphire panels set into the sides of the steel body, which means you can see the movement through the front crystal, the caseback, and the lateral windows. No other Omega dress watch does this. The blue dial with the raised grooved hour track creates depth without adding color. VSF Watch got the side window construction and the dial layering right.

The case. The Hour Vision is built around a 360-degree viewing concept. Sapphire crystal in the front. Sapphire crystal in the back. And sapphire panels set into the sides of the steel case. The side windows are framed by steel and sit flush with the case surface. Light enters from the sides and hits the movement, which is the whole point. The case is 41mm in polished and brushed steel. The crown is a simple fluted push-pull. No crown guard, no helium escape valve. At 13.5mm thick, it sits higher than the Prestige but still fits under a dress cuff. VSF got the side panel alignment and the case finishing right.
The dial. The dial is split into two layers. The center is blue sunburst. The outer ring is rhodium-plated with fine concentric grooves and holds the applied faceted indices. The two-layer construction gives the dial a three-dimensional look without complicating the time-telling. The dauphine hands are rhodium-plated with Super-LumiNova fill. The lume is minimal, which is correct for a dress watch. The date at 3 has a polished surround. VSF matched the blue correctly and the grooved ring is evenly machined.
The movement. Dandong 8900 automatic with the independent jumping hour hand. Dual barrels. The hour hand jumps in one-hour clicks for time zone changes without stopping the running seconds. The date is linked to the hour hand. The movement is visible through the caseback and the side windows. The Geneva wave finishing and the blackened screws are visible from multiple angles. Winding is smooth and the date change is clean.
The strap. Blue leather with a steel deployant clasp. The blue matches the dial. The deployant clasp is a single-fold design with a polished finish. The strap tapers and integrates cleanly with the case lugs. Standard strap changes are possible since the Hour Vision does not use an integrated bracelet design. The blue on blue pairing keeps the watch monochromatic and formal.
