The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.90.42.20.10.001 is the titanium Seamaster with the green dial and the bronze gold accents. It shares the NTTD platform but swaps the tropical brown for matte green and adds bronze gold plating to the bezel ring, crown, and helium escape valve. The titanium case keeps the weight down. The green dial changes the personality. It is the most interesting non-Bond Seamaster in the current catalog. The materials. Grade 2 titanium for the case body and the Milanese bracelet. Fully brushed, dark grey tone, light on the wrist. The bezel ring, the crown, and the helium escape valve are plated in bronze gold. Bronze gold is Omega's proprietary alloy. It reads as a warm rose gold with a slightly muted, less pink tone than traditional rose gold. Against the matte grey titanium, the bronze gold accents stand out without looking like two different watches colliding. VSF matched the bronze gold tone correctly and the plating is even across the three elements.
The dial. Sandblasted matte green. The sandblasting produces a finer, more even matte than brushing. The green is a deep military olive that shifts toward grey in low light. The skeletonized hands have bronze gold-plated edges that match the bezel ring and crown. The applied indices have vintage beige Super-LumiNova. The "Seamaster" text is printed in red. The no-date layout keeps the dial symmetrical. The domed sapphire crystal is the same heavily curved profile from the NTTD that distorts at the edges and mimics the look of vintage acrylic. VSF got the green tone and the crystal profile right.
The bezel. Matte green aluminum insert with a vintage-toned luminous diving scale. The green matches the dial. The aluminum is matte, not glossy, and it will develop surface character with wear. The bezel base is titanium and the bezel ring is bronze gold plated. The action is firm with clean clicks. The luminous pip is centered at 12.
The movement. VSF Caliber 8806 automatic, no-date. The 8806 is the no-date version of the 8800. No date window means no phantom date position on the crown. The movement is visible through the exhibition caseback. The balance wheel is blackened to match the gen component color. Winding is smooth and the movement is reliable.
The bracelet. Grade 2 titanium Milanese mesh with a foldover deployant clasp. Same bracelet design as the NTTD. The mesh drapes over the wrist, breathes well, and does not pull hair. The clasp has an adjustment system. The titanium mesh matches the case color. If you like the NTTD but want something with more color contrast than the all-brown palette, the green dial and bronze gold accents give you that without changing the platform.
